Bigamy/ polygamy are illegal in Hawaii and the rest of the United States so Barack Obama Sr.'s marriage to Ann Dunham was never valid or lawful.

Therefore, it appears Barack Obama Jr, is illigitimate in more ways than one...........

Is Obama the first bastard to become "President"?

One Simple Question!

While I've little interest in getting in the middle of the Obama birth issue, Paul Hollrah over at UTFSM did so yesterday and believes the issue can be resolved by Obama answering one simple question:

What passport did he use when he was shuttling between New York , Jakarta , and Karachi ?
So how did a young man who arrived in New York in early June 1981, without the price of a hotel room in his pocket, suddenly come up with the price of a round-the-world trip just a month later?

And once he was on a plane, shuttling between New York , Jakarta , and Karachi , what passport was he offering when he passed through Customs and Immigration?

The American people not only deserve to have answers to these questions, they must have answers. It makes the debate over Obama's citizenship a rather short and simple one.

Q: Did he travel to Pakistan in 1981, at age 20?

A : Yes, by his own admission.

Q: What passport did he travel under?

A: There are only three possibilities
1) He traveled with a U.S. Passport,
2) He traveled with a British passport, or
3) He traveled with an Indonesia passport.

Q: Is it possible that Obama traveled with a U.S. Passport in 1981?

A: No. It is not possible. Pakistan was on the U.S. State Department's "no travel" list in 1981.

Conclusion:

When Obama went to Pakistan in 1981 he was traveling either with a British passport or an Indonesian passport.

If he were traveling with a British passport that would provide proof he was born in Kenya on August 4, 1961, not in Hawaii as he claims.

And if he were traveling with an Indonesian passport that would tend to prove he relinquished whatever previous citizenship he held, British or American, prior to being adopted by his Indonesian step-father in 1967.

Whateve r the truth of the matter, the American people need to know how he managed to become a "natural born" Americ an citizen between 1981 and 2008.

Given the destructive nature of his plans for America, as illustrated by his speech before Congress and the disastrous spending plan he has presented to Congress, the sooner we learn the truth of all this, the better.

If you Don't care if Your President is not a natural born Citizen and in Violation of the Constitution, then Delete this and go into your cocoon.

If you do care, then forward this.

=] Hi and thanks in advanced for answering my questions.

1.) In order to become a professional surfer, do you have to start surfing at a certain age? Like, would it be possible to become a pro surfer if you started surfing at like 18-19 age range. I mean, if you started then and then went pro at like 30's. Is that possible or not really?

2.) What does it take to be a pro surfer? Like how do you get sponsors?
I know that you have to be good, duh and win contests. But what else is involved?

3.) Is it true that in order to be a pro surfer you have to live in like Oahu, Hawaii. Could you live on one of the other islands or in California.
What about out of The United States? Like, Australia?
Where do you think in general is the best place for surfers to live?

I'm not one of the people who think Obama is not qualified because of his birth. This talk has gotten me thinking though, what if someone became an American citizen when a state is admitted to the Union? Would that person automatically be considered a natural-born citizen? The article in question is Section 1 of Article Two of the United States Constitution:

"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."

When a state is admitted to the Union, do they adopt the Constitution at that point or is that phrase only referring to the initial adoption of the Constitution? Are there any rulings from the courts on this?

Geez i feel embarassed writing about my pathetic life...I don't even know where I'm going with this thing, but does the beginning sound good or just whiny and boring? i don't mind the criticism one bit, I'm wondering if it's ok enough to maybe win a short story contest ( i know its not done but just based on the quality of writing) thanks:

The baristas chocolate brown hair swished over her shoulder as she turned to prepare my coffee I ordered ten minutes ago. I wasn't complaining though. Behind the counter and on the wall was a blown up photo of a beautiful waterfall. I had escaped into it, not feeling serene, but excited, awake, even before I downed a vente sized cup of pure caffine. How I wanted to be there, just forget everything and go. I didn't even know where the place was, Hawaii, Jamaica, but I knew I wanted to get out of California, or just get out in general.

I had been unemployed nearly a year now, and I was starting to think it wasn't the economy's fault, it was mine. It was my fault, my embarassment, and I didn't know what the hell to do about it anymore. Writing was becoming less and less of an escape. Lately I'd just google photos of Italian Villas in Siena, Italy, or snow covered stone cottages set in the heart of Nova Scotia. Anywhere that wasn't here. Anywhere I could vacation to, someday, but for now would have to settle with the day dreams in my mind. That was my problem, I was a dreamer.

"Greeta? Greeta!"

"It's Greta like Greta Garbo," I snapped. Usually I didn't give a damn what they called me, as long as they got my order right, plus I was used to people messing up my name, but today, in my meaningless state I wanted this chick to say it right.

"Greta, I'm sorry," she said sounding genuine, "Here is your Lite Vanilla Latte, enjoy".

I took a small sip knowing it would be hot. The thing was so gross compared to the regular Vanilla Latte, but I figured I needed to do something self improving, and losing weight through my dead period of unemployment had been one of them.

so great ok? Also if you don't like the content - im not asking for your opinion on whether or not you LIKE barack obama - but whether it is a good piece of literacy in general. ok here goes.. also what level do u think i'll get for it?
Barack Obama: Reasons Why I admire him.
Barack Obama is the current president of the United States of America, and the first African American president. His being a black president is important because he gives a voice to millions of powerless Afro- Americans. Secondly he is trying to overcome the effects of centuries of racism and continue the tradition of civil rights begun by, in particular, Martin Luther King. Barack has proved his strength of character – he also proves to be an articulate man supplying great wisdom and knowledge of the world around him, which can be passed to everyone who is willing to accept and learn from their mistakes. He understands the concepts of right and wrong, and his compassion and understanding as a politician seem endless.
Barack was born in Honoulu, Hawaii and was raised from humble beginnings - two years after his birth his father and mother divorced. After his mother remarried to an Indonesian student, Lolo Soetoro, all Indonesians were forced to relocate back to their old country thus Barack’s family went to live in Indonesia. When Barack was ten he returned to Hawaii to live with his grandparents - where in 1979 he graduated from High School and then moved to New York City to graduate at Columbia University in Political Science. Later he graduated at Harvard Law School. During May 1985 Obama was later hired as director of the Developing Communities Project (DCP), a church-based community organization originally comprising eight Catholic parishes in Greater Roseland .In 1989 Obama visited Europe and Kenya for 5 weeks where, after many years, he met his paternal grandparents. Later in 1996 -2004 Obama worked as a lecturer at Chicago University and Law School. Finally in 2007 Barack decided to run for presidency against Hilary Clinton and defeated her for the Democratic nomination before finally beating Republican nominee John Mcain. He became president on January 20th 2009.Obama’s struggle to overcome adversity and difficult circumstances in his family like his parents’ divorce make him – in my opinion- a strong and admirable character. His mother taught him to work hard, get a good education and inspired him which enabled him to become what he is today. He is an inspirational role model for many Americans - black or white – if there is determination to overcome prejudice then nothing can stand in your way.
Another reason why I admire Obama is because he opposes the war in Iraq by courageously sticking to his position when others named him as unpatriotic for going against his country and waving the white flag of surrender. He is also, I believe, very wise, as he plans to withdraw troops from Iraq.He recognises that he cannot leave the country without helping to rebuild the ruined country and training Iraqi and Afghani troops to bring stability, autonomy and defeat Al Quaida. Obama realises also that American troops are doing more harm than good by being in these countries since it gives an excuse for terrorists to bomb and harm innocent civilian. Obama recognises the need for America to use its power and resources to help these poorer and weaker countries.
Obama is also a brave and compassionate leader because of his policy on healthcare. This is a radical policy he is trying to introduce. For the first time he is trying to introduce changes that will help millions of poorer Americans to have access to proper healthcare. This shows that he believes in social justice for poorer people and he is the enemy of putting profit before people’s health. Many Americans, that can afford it – may I add – protest against this and accuse Obama of trying to introduce ‘socialism’ into the American health care system, studies have shown 45 million Americans do not have access to healthcare.
Overall, there are many more admirable things about Obama, more than I can write about, but I feel Americans are incredibly lucky to have a president like Obama with his compassion, understanding, wisdom and his ability to be positive when looking towards the future. He aspires to be a champion of all Americans particularly the disadvantaged and the poor. Both at home and abroad he wants to heal and bring people together as one united front. Quotes from him shine a glimmer of hope in the direction of an answer to reach some form of unity and peace and however hard it may be- yes we can.

Hi this is my essay so far, I got pretty stuck with the ending and how I could make it all come together. Its already at 500 words so any advice is greatly appreciated

the prompt is, describe the world you come from and how it has shaped your dreams and aspirations.

As your driving into the city of Las Vegas, your first thoughts are always "Wow! Look at all those pretty lights", But what you wouldn't imagine is that you were about to enter a twenty-four hour party. That's exactly what it is here. Not just for the tourists that come, but also for the residents that live here. I have lived in Las Vegas my entire life, and I never realized how much the environment you are surrounded by when you are young, could shape the person you became as you grew older. Granted, every city has its problems. It is our choice as individuals to decide what groups we fall into, what experiences we involve ourselves in, and what roads we take, but growing up in a city that seems to be have a center focus on the party lifestyle isn't easy, especially for young adults my age. I was lucky enough to have grown up with so strict of a father that it was impossible for me to get in any kind of trouble. Most of my friends growing up, even childhood friends have ended up in very bad positions. I believe that it's because families here aren't as well connected to each other like families from some other states, though I am not sure why this is. Yes, Las Vegas is a beautiful, cultured, exciting place, but there are a lot of things that people misconceive when they come here.
Thankfully, I have always had a strong supportive foundation of family, and I have always had many things to engage myself in. My family and I were constant travelers; we traveled from places like Kona, Hawaii, all the way to places like Sydney, Australia. And I believe that having this privilege to travel all around the world has really sculpted my passion for Marine Biology. I've always had a passion for science, as well as literature, but it wasn't until I took my first dive on Catalina Island that I truly knew this is what I wanted to do with my life. Being underwater is like nothing you've ever experienced before; the scene is calm and quiet, and all you can hear is the sound of your breath as you inhale and exhale. I find myself in complete euphoria when I'm underwater and discovering new things. It was my sixteenth birthday; my family and I took a trip to an island off the coast of California. My father always knew I had a passion for the ocean, so I was ecstatic when he told me that we I was going to become SCUBA certified.
It was at this point I really begun to feel grateful for what I had, Although I've grown up in a city with constant negative influence, I have also grown up with a wonderful family who has done everything in their power to make me the best person I can be, and with that I feel even stronger because I know that, yes, sometimes, our community, our lifestyles, and our surrounding's have a huge influence on who we become, but also that people also can grow on their own, and overcome any adversity.
hmm, well i dont see how there is a thematic rift, because i was explaining how las vegas is and how it didnt effect me as much because of my family. i dont want to cut i because as an out of state applicant i want them to know where i come from.. and how it shaped me, which is what the prompt is.

anyways could you give me any more advice about my sentence structures.. examples of what i could do better perhaps.

1. My first question is-I want to become a meteorologist when i grow up (ideally for the NWS), but when i chose my courses for my freshman year in HS (this year), i accedentally chose algebra1 and earth science, both of which are too easy. I took earth science thinking that it would help more with meteorology not knowing if i took honors biology i could take AP Earth science later. Also, i didnt know that i needed calculus for meteorology, so im in a bad position. I asked to get my schedule changed but it was too late. My question is, by my freshman year do you think i could recover and catch back up and hopefully ahead?
2- How good are the following schools in meteorology and how hard are they to get in?
Penn State, Florida State, Colorado St. Arizona, Hawaii at Manoa, Oklahoma, and NC State (i live in north carolina, so not as expensive!) And also, are their any other good meteorology schools?
About the first answer biology is required at my school so i have to take it, so if i got it over with at first i could go higher up in courses that matter in meteorology. My hopes now are to go earth science, honors biology, chemistry (very important in meteorology), then AP physics.

To me, it seems like the gap between the so called "haves and have-nots" is becoming smaller. Each conference is becoming more competitive. The voters are wising up to the potential BCS Busters and not putting them in a BCS Bowl before the season starts (ie. Hawaii 2 years ago), which I like. They should have to prove themselves just like every other team, for example, how BYU scheduled Oklahoma.

I'm still on the fence about Miami and Florida State being back. Yes they played a great game in week one, but they haven't convinced me that they are back, in typical FSU and Miami tradition. These used to be the benchmark teams in College Football. Miami will tell us a lot about itself in the next 2 weeks, with Virginia Tech followed by Oklahoma. The 'Noles will have nothing but North Carolina left on the ACC plate, as they dissapointingly do not play the Hokies this season. But on the flip side, they do have Tebow and the mighty Gators on the last game of the year. I'm expecting a hell of a lot to be on the line for that one, and for these two surprisingly good teams to challenge for the ACC title. Hopefully they can prove to be top tier teams again, because college football is just plain better when the power houses are playing like power houses.

I also can expect Florida to lose at least once, and I'm expecting Texas to go undefeated, along with the Cal Golden Bears. Yeah, that's right. Cal/ Texas National Championship. And guess what? No non BCS teams in BCS Bowls.

Here's my predictions:
NC: 1. Texas over 2. California
Sugar Bowl: Florida over Cincinnati
Fiesta Bowl: Oklahoma over USC
Orange Bowl: Penn State over Florida State
Rose Bowl: Alabama over Ohio State

Yes, Florida will fall. I'm guessing against the Seminoles. Cal will beat USC this season and go undefeated in the Pac 10. Texas will make it out alive somehow, and meet the Golden Bears in the Title game, where Colt McCoy will come into the game as the 75th Heisman Trophy winner against runner up Jahvid Best. Oklahoma will win all their games remaining but the Red River Rivalry, and USC will win out.

A. Spanish immigration was banned.
B. The United States annexed Hawaii.
C. The United States took control of Puerto Rico.
D. America became less of a world power.

1) Joseph Stalin killed more jews than Hitler
2) The United States supported Fidel Castro during the revolution.
3) Hawaii was conquered by the United States, it was invaded and taken by force.
4) There have been 21 republican presidents (democratic-republican became republican) and only 16 democratic presidents.
5) The south could have easily won the Civil War, if it wasn't for Gettysburg, they would've had a straight shot at NYC and would've split the union in two pieces (again).
6) Southern president Jefferson Davis hired terrorists to inflict domestic violence in the North.
7) THe lincoln assassination was meant to be much more. The assassin to kill the Vice President got drunk and forgot, and the assassin to kill the 3rd in line for presidency never showed up. Booth was the lone successor.
o yeah and i know its under music but it is a poll

Obama claimed that his " research " showed that only 5 % of America would sign up for the public option government health care.

Isn't Obama aware of what happened recently when Hawaii became the first state to attempt to initiate a public option government health care for children ?

.........The state of Hawaii discovered that approximately 3700 children had " fallen through the cracks " whereby they did not have any health insurance because their parents were not poor enough to qualify for Medicaid yet they did not have sufficient money to pay for health insurance premiums.

In order to resolve this dilemna, Hawaii created a " public option " goverment health care just as Obama intends to do. Although this program was created to provide health care for those 3700 children without any health care.......as soon as other parents discovered they could obtain free health care for their children....these parents stopped paying health insurance premiums for their children and enrolled them in the free government health care program.
Within a month of two Hawaii was inundated with health care applications for vast numbers of children well beyond the 3700 children that the state had originally allocated funding for.
The Bottom Line is that so many more children were enrolled in the government health care program than were originally projected that the state of Hawaii had to discontinue the government health care program 7 months after it was implemented before it bankrupt the state.

Doesn't Obama realize that based upon what already occured in Hawaii the number of people who would sign up for government health care would, just like in Hawaii, be much higher than the unealistically low projected figure of 5 % and would also, just like in Hawaii, prove to be much more costly than was originally projected ?

So as it is, one of the worst kept secrets in the NCAA this year has been Boise State's and the MWC's intentions for the Broncos to become the next and 10th official member of the conference, only uncertainty being exactly when, but probably sometime within the next few years.
So this got me to thinking. If the MWC were to look into expanding into a 12 team - "super conference", complete with two divisions and a championship game, perhaps in an effort to get taken more seriously by the BCS. Aside from Boise State, which two teams do you think would be the best fit for their final two members? I'm thinking it's all but a certainty that those two teams would wind up coming out of the WAC.
IMO...Fresno State and Nevada would be the best teams available for them. Hawaii wouldn't be a bad team to go with either, but I don't think the MWC heads have any interest in Hawaii, just due to not wanting to have to make half their teams take that trip every year. That's actually been a big hangup with Hawaii in the past, and a large part of the reason why the only conference who will take them has been the WAC.
Another idea that would also make sense for them would be to take any two of the three - Utah State, New Mexico State, or Idaho. None of them are particularly good right now, although all three have been steadily improving since joining the WAC a few years back. Or...Fresno State and San Jose State. But the purpose this would serve would be to ensure that they're in the same conference with their in-state rivals.
Well anyway...I'm curious to hear what others have to say about this, particularly fans of the Pac-10/MWC/WAC.

JUST THE FACTS! THE COUNTRY of TEXOARKLA

In case things get a little tougher during the next few months, we In LOUISIANA, TEXAS, OKLAHOMA & ARKANSAS have a plan.

Maybe you don't know it, but LOUISIANA, TEXAS, OKLAHOMA & ARKANSAS have a legal right to secede from the Union. (Reference the Texas/Louisiana-American Annexation Treaty of 1848.)

Us TEXOARKLANS love y'all Americans, but we'll probably have to take action since Barack Obama won the election and is now the President of the U.S.A. We'll miss ya'll though.

Here is what can happen:

1. Barack Hussein Obama, after becoming the President of the United States, begins to try and create a socialist country, then TEXAS, LOUISIANA, ARKANSAS and OKLAHOMA announces that they are going to secede from the Union.

2. George W. Bush becomes the President of the Republic of TEXOARKLA. You might think that he doesn't talk too pretty, but we haven't had another terrorist attack and the economy was fine until the effects of Barney Frank and the Democrats lowering the qualifications for home loans came home to roost.

So what does TEXOARKLA have to do to survive as a Republic?

1. NASA is just south of Houston, Texas. We will control the space industry.

2. We refine over 90% of the gasoline in the United States.

3. Defense Industry--we have over 65% of it. The term "Don't mess with TEXAS," will take on a whole new meaning.

4. Oil - we can supply all the oil that the Republic of TEXOARKLA will need for the next 300 years. What will the other states do? Gee, we don't know. Why not ask Obama?

5. Natural Gas - again, we have all we need and it's too bad about those Northern States. John Kerry and Al Gore will just have to figure out a way to keep them warm...

6. Computer Industry - we lead the nation in producing computer chips and communications equipment - small companies like Texas Instruments, Dell Computer, EDS, Raytheon, National Semiconductor, Motorola, Intel, AMD, Nortel, Alcatel, etc. The list goes on and on.

7. Medical Care - We have the research centers for cancer research, the best burn centers and the top trauma units in the world, as well as other large health centers.

8. We have enough colleges to keep educating and making smarter citizens: University of Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, UL-Lafayette, UL-Monroe, University of Arkansas, LSU, Arkansas State University, Baylor, Rice, TCU, SMU and MANY more.

9. We have an intelligent and energetic work force and it isn't restricted by a bunch of unions. Here in TEXOARKLA, we are a Right-to-Work State and, therefore, it's every man and woman for themselves. We just go out and get the job done.. And if we don't like the way one company operates, we get a job somewhere else.

10. We have essential control of the paper, plastics, and insurance industries, etc.

11. In case of a foreign invasion, we have the TEXOARKLA National Guard, the TEXOARKLA Air National Guard, and several military bases. We don't have an Army, but since everybody down here has at least six guns and a pile of ammo, we can raise an Army in 24 hours if we need one. If the situation really gets bad, we can always call the Department of Public Safety and ask them to send over the Texas Rangers.

12. We are totally self-sufficient in beef, poultry, hogs, and several types of grain, fruit and vegetables and let's not forget seafood from the Gulf. Also, everybody down here knows how to cook them so that they taste good. We don't need any food from somewhere else.

13. FIVE of the ten largest cities in the United States and THIRTY TWO of the 100 largest cities in the United States are located in TEXOARKLA. And TEXOARKLA also has more land than California, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Maryland, Rhode Island and Vermont combined.

14. Trade: FIVE of the ten largest ports in the United States are located in TEXOARKLA.

15. We also manufacture cars down here, but we don't need to. You see, nothing rusts in TEXOARKLA so our vehicles stay beautiful and run well for decades.

16. We can finally build the wall between TEXOARKLA and Mexico and deport “Illegal Aliens” and say the hell with the EPA and build the lock and damn system in New Orleans that will keep the water out.

This just names a few of the items that will keep the Republic of TEXOARKLA in good shape. There isn't a thing out there that we need and don't have.

Now to the rest of you folks in the United States under President Obama:

Since you won't have the refineries to get gas for your cars, only President Obama will be able to drive around in his big 9 mpg SUV. The rest of the United States will have to walk or ride bikes.

You won't have any TV as the Space Center in Houston will cut off satellite communications.

You won't have any natural gas to heat your homes, but since Al Gore has predicted global warming, you will not need the gas as l

question on my mind for a while now alaska and hawaii were not states in the early 40's and some people were born then my question is if a man/woman wants to become the president and he/she was born lets say 1943 in alaska could they be the president? if so would there be any controversies?

I really dont know, so Im curious to your answers.

Fifty years ago today Hawaii became the 50th US state. Now, some natives want it to break ties with the rest of the US. Protesters say it is the land of the Native Peoples of Hawaii and was and should still be a kingdom. What do you think?

Slipping into Quicksand
His Rise Wasn't Difficult Enough to Prepare Him

By Monica Crowley | Wednesday, August 19, 2009

President Obama, once considered as politically agile and deft as a gazelle, is now looking increasingly like a deer caught in the headlights.

His poll numbers on everything from job approval to his handling of the economy, health care, taxes and bailouts are dropping faster than a cement shoe in the Hudson River. Perhaps even more worrisome, Rasmussen Reports shows that fewer Americans consider him "trustworthy."

His popular support is hemorrhaging because all of his major initiatives are either failing in execution or in the legislative process. According to a new USA Today/Gallup Poll, 57 percent of Americans say the $787 billion economic stimulus is having no effect on the economy or is making it worse.

An even higher percentage -- 60 percent -- doubt the stimulus will improve the economy in the years ahead. A new Fox News/Opinion Dynamics poll shows a whopping 72 percent of Democrats, Republicans and independents would like to see the balance of the unspent stimulus money -- about $600 billion -- returned to taxpayers.

The cap-and-trade legislation cleared the House (barely) but looks to die a timely death in the Senate. A majority of Americans now reject this scheme as they have learned it would be tantamount to the largest tax increase in the history of the world.

And now, Mr. Obama's Orwellian health care vision is going down in a ball of flames, with Americans of every ideological stripe in revolt over some part of what's being proposed, conceded and debated.

The president's agenda is in deep trouble, and now it appears not even the silver-tongued, savvy political Merlin himself can salvage it.

It wasn't supposed to be this hard for the Democrats: With control of the White House and huge majorities in the Congress, they were supposed to blow past whatever token resistance to their plans the Republicans and others might raise and easily implement their full-tilt liberal agenda.

But something funny happened on the way to far-left governance: The American people began to reject what was about to be inflicted on them. The Democrats did not anticipate that their constituents might like a say in how they were being governed. (That whole "government for, by, and of the people" is so 18th-century.)

Mr. Obama has been particularly perplexed by the revolt against his ideas, for two main reasons:

First, he (like the rest of his party) misread November's election results as a mandate to impose a far-left agenda without debate. The American people, however, still believe in the quaint idea of robust discussion before ideas are turned into law. They also make up a country that remains ideologically center-right. This week, Gallup released a poll showing that conservatives now outnumber liberals in all 50 states, and that 40 percent self-identify as conservative versus only 21 percent self-identifying as liberal.

No wonder a radical liberal agenda isn't taking off like the Black Eyed Peas' new CD.

The second reason involves Mr. Obama's lack of political combat experience. He has never been hit before. Until the health care blowup, none of his significant political opponents ever really landed a punch. During his early Chicago political career, he ran opponents off the ballot, but such community-organizing manipulation doesn't translate well nationally. And now he finds himself in the presidency, never having known what it is to take a body blow.

The point of a presidential campaign is to put the candidate through the ringer: to force him to get banged up by his opponents and the press, and to have to answer the difficult and uncomfortable questions, be investigated, and learn the thrust and parry of political swordplay.
By the time he becomes president, he has been roughed up enough to be better prepared for the job.

Mr. Obama never experienced that. His opponents -- particularly Hillary Rodham Clinton -- tried to go after him, but even she used kid gloves. Former President Bill Clinton tried, too, and nearly got booed off the national stage. And Sen. John McCain could muster only the weakest of attacks against his younger rival. The mainstream media, of course, played up to him intently.

The end result is a president who doesn't know how to take a political hit or repel one without resorting to desperate and shameful attacks on the opposition.

This helps no one -- not the president, not the American people, not the country. Having a president react like a child who has been picked on for the first time doesn't telegraph "leadership." If he's flipping his wig about the health care revolt, imagine how he might react if there were another terrorist strike on the homeland or the Iranians moved to nuke New York or the North Koreans sailed a nuclear-tipped missile toward Hawaii or Alaska.

A president is always cosseted by hi

A complaint was filed with the Hawaii Civil Rights Commission back in 2006, it came to light during process that lead investigator was married to a lawyer who was doing work for firm that had represented charged HMO but not yet admitted to Hawaii to practice. As soon as decision was made, not in complaintant's favor, she became "Of counsel" for firm and was listed as admitted to Hawaii to practice.
They seem to have divorced at this point. I wonder if her change in status, his statement relayed to us that "he would personally handle this" during the investigation was more than coincidence. He seemed to have left his position quite quickly and brings questions of possible impropriety leading to his departure. Is there a statute of limitations on government/state decisions that turn out to be questionably made after facts come out?

i mean like Rutherford b hayes winning the presidency and Hawaii becoming a state. thanks

were they considered born U.S. citizens?
smilling~ maybe he did.

The 9th circuit court of appeals covers nine states.............
California, Alaska, Arizona, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Nevada, Hawaii, Oregon

If the 9th circuit court of appeals rules California's prop 8 is unconstitutional............

Does that mean gay marriage becomes legal in all nine states?
or just California?

Cause I remember them saying that if this goes to the U.S. Supreme Court, then gay marriage becomes legal in all 50 states.

So at the 9th circuit court of appeals, does it become legal in all nine states?
or does it only apply to California?

Let's say the federal case challenging prop 8 goes to the 9th circuit court of appeals.............and they win.

and the case doesn't go to the Supreme Court.

The 9th circuit court of appeals covers 9 states:
California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada.

If they win at the 9th circuit court of appeals: Does that mean gay marriage becomes legal in all 9 states?

Does anyone know the date of the elections? Im American, and I know it's not any of my business, I just want to watch the election and see. I know that if Scotland does gain Independence, It will be big news for a while and it might push a few of the States in the USA to become their own Nations. (Hawaii, Vermont, Texas and California states that have shown signs of freedom)

I personally would prefer the UK to stay united but like I said Im American and I have no right to decide that.

It reads faster than it looks like it would... here it is:

BARRY SOETORO aka BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA
IS A
USURPER

He is not eligible to be
President of the United States
because he is not a Natural Born Citizen
as required by Article Two, Section One, Clause Five of the United States Constitution.

This is a fact REGARDLESS of
where he was born (Mombasa, Hawaii, Chicago, Mecca or Mars).

He is not eligible
because he was not born of
TWO PARENTS
BOTH OF WHOM WERE UNITED STATES CITIZENS
AT THE TIME OF HIS BIRTH
as required by the Constitution.

His father, who did not live in the United States for more than a couple of years, was a subject/citizen
of Kenya/Great Britain at the time of Barack’s birth and afterwards, AND further, as Barack himself admitted on his website during the 2008 campaign, Barack was therefore born SUBJECT TO THE GOVERNANCE OF GREAT BRITAIN.

Here is a direct quote from Obama's "Fight the Smears/Fact Check" 2008 website:

‘When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children…’ “

The FACT that he was not born of TWO US CITIZEN PARENTS is all that matters. The question of his birth certificate is a distraction (a distraction fostered by Obama’s supporters?) that ought not to occupy our time and resources.

Also, it is possible that he is not a United States
citizen at all through his mother if he was born in Kenya, as three witnesses have testified. The reason is because his mother could not pass her US citizenship on to her son because she did not live continuously in the United States for five full years after her fourteenth birthday as required by the US immigration law in effect during that period of time.

His usurpation can only be corrected (1) by Congress through his Impeachment and Removal [something which will never happen in a Congress controlled by Pelosi/Reid], or (2) it can be
corrected by his resignation, which could happen if the public pressure on him to resign becomes great enough, or (3) by his removal by the United States Supreme Court affirming a Quo Warranto decision of the United States Federal District Court for the District of Columbia [which process Attorney General Eric Holder would never allow to even begin] or (4) by an amendment to the Constitution,
which will never happen because that again would require the agreement of a Congress controlled by Pelosi/Reid.
_

HERE IS THE QUESTION WHICH EVERY AMERICAN CITIZEN SHOULD BE ASKING HIS OR HER CONGRESSMAN AND SENATORS

“During the 2008 election, then Senator Obama published a statement at his website which said that his birth status was ‘governed’ by the British Nationality Act of 1948. Can you please tell me, and the American people, how a person governed - at birth - by British law, can be a natural born citizen of the United States and thus constitutionally eligible to be President of the United States?”

When global warming causes most of Hawaii and many coastal states to be submerged (especially Lousiana and Florida), at what point would it cease to be a state? I'm aware a US territory needs to have a certain population to be admitted into the union as a state, but if the population becomes too low is statehood repealed?
The state of New York is more than just the city of New York. While the city will one day be underwater, everything west of the adirondack mountains will be safe.

And yes, I realize it won't happen in our lifetimes, but in 150 years...
I suppose its more likely that the continental states, state lines could be re-drawn, just as parts of Florida where given to Mississippi and Alabama so those states could have access to the Gulf of Mexico. But Hawaii is on its own.

Derek Low is probably the only player from Hawaii right now with a chance to play in the NBA.

Basketball is good over here but because of the lack of size of most players, colleges don't look here for recruits often. However, there are players with potential and size but because of competition are questioned.

Besides the 50 states, I count 6 territories. Have we annexed any more territory since Hawaii became a state?

A point was raised in a discussion concerning where he was born. Hawaii became a state about 50 yeas ago, was Obama born before or after statehood?

How do we know if Hawaii really is a state? There are several things that leave me in doubt:

- They were invaded by the Japanese at one point during World War 2.
- They're almost never in the country; they're usually out at sea somewhere.
- Hawaii is just one of several islands. How did the rest of the islands get in? Shouldn't they be separate states?
- Almost none of their street signs is in English.
- It costs at least $500 to go there. Why so much? When's the last time anybody paid $500 to go to, say, New Jersey?
- Hawaii supposedly became a state on August 21, 1959; but Barack Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961. That can't be right, because as we all know, Obama is Unamerican.
- Alaska became a state on January 3, 1959. Isn't it a rather large coincidence for America to gain two states in the *same year?*
- Hawaii's state flag has a British flag in the corner. (You may remember from your history books that the British were the very first Unamericans.)
- They're just too darn dusky.

These are legitimate grounds for concern. Sure, somebody in Congress could show us a piece of paper *claiming* Hawaii to be a state, but what kind of proof is that? It could be a fake.

Are there any other "staters" out there who share my concerns?
Note to those with irony deficiency: Yes, it's a joke. It's a bit frightening how many people are taking this seriously. Maybe that's why "birthers" are getting so much press, instead of just being ignored as the frothing loonies that they are.

The Berg case seems to have lost its way on the issue of standing. Berg does not have standing to bring the case. Without that, no Article III Court has the Constitutional authority to decide the issue. Where the plaintiff has no standing there can be no "case or controversy", and the "case or controversy" limitation affects all Article III Courts, from the District, to the Circuit, and to the Supremes.

That said, It has not been established that no person anywhere in USA would have standing. All we know is that Berg is out there alone, and nobody has joined him who has standing (like maybe the electors, or the Secretaries of State of the various states, or even a few of them).

So, yes, the birthers are being treated like lunatics. That doesn't make them lunatics.

Here's what's so: The State of Hawaii claims it has a safe which contains the original long form birth certificate for Obama.

This claim is either a lie or it's the truth. (see Logic 101)

If it's the truth it amounts to saying that there's a box that has the Best Evidence proof in it. If the box were opened, the best evidence proof could be seen by many people not just us officials of the State of Hawaii.

Could be seen, of course, only if a true "case or controversy" arises, which so far has not happened.

Obama signs a lot of documents. In many cases people's rights and duties are determined by those documents. For example, an order sending men into combat. Such a signed document creates legal duties on certain persons in the uniformed military.

What if one of them said, "I'm not going unless and until the box is opened and I can see the best evidence about where Obama was born. If he's not the lawful President, then his signed order, sending me into combat is a nullity, and I don't have any legal obligation to obey it. He's not an officer having authority over me, like I promised to obey in my recruitment oath."

Would such a soldier, or marine, or sailor necessarily have to be a lunatic to take such a position? I think not. It's really inconvenient for the government to have to address that issue, but just becase a person creates some inconvenience for the government, does not make them a lunatic.

How about if the soldier adds, "Just open the box, show me the paper, if it's there, I'll go, no questions asked."

Is that position so unreasonable that it could only be put forth by a lunatic? I think not. The man's life and safety are at stake, so he definitely has a "case or controversy" -- he's not some random meddling interloper just trying to get attention so he can write a book, like possibly Berg is. He's not some covert political operative trying to do mischief on the Obama Presidency, sort of like Nixon's "Plumbers".

No this is a guy whose very life is on the line. If that's not a "case or controversy" it's hard to imagine what would be.

And he's not requesting some outlandish and expensive remedy that could not possibly be delivered. Let's examine the remedy from a cost accounting perspective. Let's say it takes three officials in Hawaii to open the safe, they are each paid $1000 a day for their time, it takes 30 minutes out of an eight hour workday to get the safe open, find the paper, and show it to the plaintiff. So that would be 1/16th of $3000 or $187.50.

I realize that's a lot of money, but not for a government that's creating a trillion dollars every two weeks out of thin air, right?

So, the plaintiff is not asking for a remedy that would "Break the Bank" of USA, right?

What it comes down to is whether Obama's Privacy Act rights imputed to him by the Hawaii officials, who have so far refused to show the actual paper, that they say they have seen, and held in their hands, would supercede the plaintiff's right to ensure the lawfulness of orders given to him which might result in his loss of life.

OK, when was the Privacy Act enacted? Has it ever been considered secondary in any legal matter in the USA since it was enacted? Given those cases in whcih it was, how does this case fit into the reasoning and jurisprudence? Is there a balancing of hardships? Obama personal data might be released vs the plaintiff might lose his life.

I don't think the Supreme Court would have to become "lunatic" to find that there are legal questions, worthy of its dignity, to be resolved here.

This has got nothing to do with Kenya, or any mumbo-jumbo coming out of Kenya. This has to do with taking a piece of paper out of a box and showing it to a plaintiff. It's actually a simple case. There is a Best Evidence Rule in the Rules of Federal Procedure which says that a party to a case has a right to the Best Evidence if that evidence can be made available. Obviously affidavits from Hawaii officials about what they saw in the safe, is not the best evidence, if the safe can be opened, and U.S Marshalls can look and see what actually in there.

Calling the "birthers" lunatics, is what we in the conflict res
Why not read the question before just giving a kneejerk answer?

The question was written by a person who has done some careful research, and who is a trial lawyer, a member of the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court.

This question does not get into any of the "born overseas, or born in Kenya" scenarios. Those issues are not germaine.

The question assumes Obama's birth in Hawaii. It's really just about opening a box and looking at a piece of paper. Is that so lunatic?

The law in Hawaii at the time of Obama's birth is actually quite complex with regard to the precise number of months his mother would need to spend in USA, after she reached the age of 14, and before she gave birth to Obama. The long form might show that. The term "natural born citizen" has never been ruled on by the U.S. Supreme Court. Given the facts about the mother's wherabouts, it could go one way or the other for Obama. One need not be a "lunatic" to want this matter properly resolved. Constitutionalist = Good
Open the safe, show the long form birth certificate! Why is that so hard? Why do I have to take the Hawaii officials word for it? Proving the Obama case would take 30 minutes and cost $187.50. Treating it as a detail to be swept under the rug by assertive blather is the high-cost high-friction high-complication route. Being contemptuous of one's fellow citizens is wrong. The Framers themselves talked about having a "decent respect for the opinions of mankind". It's the people who are willing to spend millions of dollars in legal fees to keep that safe sealed who are the embarrassment to the GOP, to the Democratic Party, and to the Indepenents (such as myself). All the rational persons are sorry when the best evidence on important matters is not brought forward freely, candidly, and simply. Pooh poohing this issue is dumb. It will wind up in Court and be a big mess. 30 minutes, $187.50, and the matter is solved, once and for all. Why not be smart?

What passport did obama use when he was shuttling between New York, Jakarta and Karachi in 1981?
How did a young man who arrived in New York in early June 1981 without the price of a hotel room in his pocket suddenly come up the price of a round-the-world trip in just a month later?

Once he was traveling between these cities, what passport was he offering when he passed through customs and immigration?

Q: Did he travel to Pakistan in 1981 at age 20?
A: Yes, by his own admission.

Now the debate over obamas citizenship is rather short and simple.

What passport did he travel under?

A: There are only three possibilities.

1). He traveled with a U.S. passport
2) He traveled with a British passport
3) He traveled with an Indonesian Passport.

Q: Is it possible he traveled with a U.S. passport?
A: No. It is not possible. Pakistan was on the U.S. State
departments "no travel" list in 1981.

Conclusion: When obama went to Pakistan in 1981 he was
traveling under either a British or Indonesian passport.

If he were traveling with a British passport that would be proof that he
was born in Kenya on August 4, 1961, not in Hawaii as he claims.
And if he were traveling under Indonesian passport that would tend
to prove that he relinquished whatever previous citizenship he held,
British or American since being adopted his Indonesian step-
father in 1967.

Whatever the truth of the matter, the American people need to know
how he managed to become
a "natural born" American citizen between 1961 and 2008.

Given the destructive nature of his plans for America, as illustrated by his speech before Congress, and his disastrous spending plans he has presented to Congress, the sooner he tells the truth the better.

Hi,

I'm 17 years old, but when I was 13, I started to have some pretty weird and frightening symptoms. The first episode occurred when I had traveled to Seattle for the summer. I was fine one moment, but then all of the sudden I became numb pretty much everywhere, felt dizzy, I couldn't think, and I couldn't quite place what was wrong. I felt really terrified, but I couldn't articulate myself, so I just started crying out of nowhere and had a lot of trouble explaining to my parents what was going on. I remember being really scared. I remained in that state for about a month, and my parents brought me to the doctor, and they said that I was "fine" after a couple of blood tests. So my parents thought I was making it up.

The symptoms didn't return until two years later when I went to Hawaii, but were less severe than when they first started. For some reason though, after I took alavert (active ingredient loratadine), thinking it might be allergies, the symptoms had almost disappeared gradually by the end of the day. I'm confused though, because I've never heard of neurological symptoms to changing environments.

After that, I had little one-day bouts of it every six months or so, and the symptoms would always be relieved by the loratadine. The last flare up was last March right before my pre-calculus final. It happened after I had taken a nap (I am in college early on a pre-med track and live with my parents) after school. when I woke up, I felt like I was in a scary dreamland kind of state, was numb again, couldn't think or really remember anything, and emotionally distressed. There is more to it, but I can't really describe it. I'm a normal mature kid, but that day I ran downstairs to my parents and started sobbing like a kid---at 17--because I couldn't explain what was going on. I know that sounds pathetic, but it was the only way I could articulate myself.

My primary care doctor said she didn't know what was wrong, and told me to forget about it. She said "it could be anything" and might go away. Unfortunately my mom refuses to hear about it because she thinks I'm making it up "to get attention", but really, I don't want this, and it has been very terrifying for me. What could it be? Should I go to the doctor? And should I expect another flare up? Will it go away? It has been getting progressively better.

Thank you very much,

Kelley
